From serious cinema to Bollywood potboilers, Shreyas is a versatile actor who has given hits such as ‘Dor’, for which he won the ‘Star Screen Award for Best Comedian’ and ‘Welcome to Sajjanpur’. He has also given noteworthy performances in movies such as ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Golmaal Returns’ and ‘Housefull 2’.
In 2005, his debut in a low-budget film as a deaf and mute boy in ‘Iqbal’, made history by winning major awards including a ‘Zee Cine Critics Award’ for the ‘Best Actor’ and a Filmfare nomination.
He has also hosted TV shows like ‘Savdhaan India’ and ETV Marathi’s ‘Zhunj Marathmoli’, a first-of-a-kind adventure-reality show that saw celebrities fight it out for survival.
Apart from judging comedy shows like ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, Shreyas has also hosted several award shows including the famed Big Star Entertainment Awards for five consecutive years.
He made his directorial debut with the film ‘Poster Boys’ in 2017 and has also starred in the comedy movie ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’.
His good communication skills and his ability to improvise as per the show’s requirement has made him one of the top hosts in the country.
